Get Involved

Volunteers are the heart of Greensburg Community Bread of Life, and people come to serve for many different reasons. No matter what brings them through our doors, we are truly blessed that they choose to share their time and talents with our community, including our dedicated 6AM Club, whose early morning commitment helps prepare and serve meals before work or school begins.

It’s inspiring to see multiple generations serving side by side, sharing wisdom, stories, and a common purpose. Even many of our patrons step in to volunteer, creating a beautiful cycle of giving back. Bread of Life is more than a place to serve or receive a meal; it’s a welcoming home where volunteers and patrons come together to share God’s love, care for one another, and build lasting connections.

Our volunteers are utilized in as many ways as possible. Some of the opportunities include, but are not limited to:

  • Rescuing Food

  • Organizing the Pantry

  • Assisting in the Kitchen

  • Serving Meals

  • Driving Deliveries

  • Lawn Care

  • Teaching a RISE Class

  • Sorting and Organizing Clothing at Garments of Grace

  • Serving on the Board of Directors
