Get Involved

Our volunteers come to us for many reasons. Whatever the reason, we have been blessed they have chosen Greensburg Community Bread of Life to use their gift of time to give back to their community.

We have seen multiple generations work together and share words of wisdom from their life experiences. Our patrons volunteer as well and it is a joy to see those we serve on a regular basis giving back to their community. The Bread of Life is truly a home for volunteers and patrons alike seeking to give God's loving care to each other.

Our volunteers are utilized in as many ways as possible. Some of the opportunities include, but are not limited to:

  • Rescuing Food

  • Organizing the Pantry

  • Assisting in the Kitchen

  • Serving Meals

  • Driving Deliveries

  • Lawn Care

  • Teaching a RISE Class

  • Sorting and Organizing Clothing at Garments of Grace

  • Serving on the Board of Directors
