About us:
Greensburg Community Bread of Life is a non-profit agency. Since 2002, Bread of Life has rescued and received over 2 million pounds of food and transformed it into a nutritious, hot meal. We are a place of hunger relief and a safe haven of Christian fellowship showing all who enter our doors hope, love, and mercy. We provide a free nutritious meal for the working poor, jobless/homeless, elderly on a fixed income, and families in hardship or illness. We serve a free meal on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm.
Role Overview:
The Bread of Life staff are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift, every shift. They provide dependable service in a Christ-centered atmosphere. They work with a volunteer crew that changes each day throughout the day.
Responsibilities:

Wash and clean pots, pans, cooking equipment, and tableware.

Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Work quickly to keep up with the pace of the kitchen.

General upkeep on rescue vans, including monthly cleaning or as needed.

Rescue food from local establishments.
Requirements:

Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Able to lift 40 lbs.
-
Able to stand for long periods of time.
